Southwest Pastors and Leaders Conference
Date:
March 8 – 10, 2010
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Introduced in the Bible as a young shepherd boy, David ascended to the throne, becoming Israel's first great king. His life was filled with soaring heights and deep disappointments. He was cheered by his countrymen, yet hunted by his king. He was destined for the throne, yet fled for years as a fugitive. Throughout, he demonstrated remarkable faith and character, though his flaws were costly, at times even fatal. A man after God's own heart, his life can be defined by one word - grace - God's remarkable grace. Join Pastor Skip at the 2010 Pastors and Leaders Conference as we seek to grow through "Leadership Lessons from the Life of David."
Prophecy Conference
Date:
April 10 -11, 2010
Location: Harvest Christian Fellowship
It's hard to look at the headlines, see the continuing turmoil in the Middle East and the decline of society here in the United States, and not think that we are living in the end times.
The prophetic stories of the Bible seem to be happening right in front of our eyes today as we see what is happening around the world. Scripture tells us that we do not know the day nor the hour when Christ will return, but that we should recognize the signs of His imminent return and be prepared.
With that in mind, I invite you to join us for the Preach The Word 2010 Prophecy Conference on Saturday, April 10, at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California.
You'll get keen insight into what the Bible has to say about the last days from some of the top Bible prophecy scholars in America, including Tim LaHaye, Joel Rosenberg, and Lt. Gen. William Boykin (ret.). You'll also learn how we as Christians should approach these final days before the return of Jesus Christ.
This conference is not just for scholars, but for everyone who sees what is happening in the world today and wants to know more about what is in store as Christ's return draws near.

First Friday for March
March's First Friday Broadcast of the Connection features an interview of Dr. Walter Brown by Pastor Skip Heitzig. Dr. Brown is the director of the Center for Scientific Creation and author of the book, In the Beginning: Compelling Evidence for Creation and the Flood. During 35 years of research Dr. Brown developed the hydroplate theory, which offers scientific evidence of a worldwide flood.
Premium Offer:
Today, much of the scientific world rejects the idea that the universe was designed by an intelligent Creator. In the controversial film "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed," writer/actor Ben Stein seeks to end suppression of thinking outside of the evolutionary box, and asks the question "Why is no intelligence allowed in today's classrooms?"
Also included in this month's offer is "In the Beginning," by Skip Heitzig. In this new Life Style booklet, Skip examines the Genesis account of creation, and contrasts it with the teaching of evolution which denies the existence of God.
